Long Eaton Judo club Celebrate their 50th Anniversary.

What a fantastic bash the LE 50th Anniversary party turned out to be.
The party was held at the Nova Hotel Long Eaton providing a fantastic venue for the celebration.
The Anniversary bash was attended by over 170 guests, current members and members who over the years had contributed their free time into making LE judo club what it is today, a family orientated Judo club that provides the today’s youngsters the opportunity to experience the amazing sport of Judo.

The bash was opened by a breath taking judo display by the LE juniors, showing the party guests their skill, athleticism and knowledge to demonstrate the quality of young talent that the LE judo club produces.
To top the display Daren Trueman and Steve Morris demonstrated their “slow motion” to real time judo with finesse’’ , technique and power.

This was followed by speeches from the Mayor of Erewash, the chairman of the boys club and Ray Hawkins chairman and founder member of the LE judo club.
After this a slap up meal and disco that carried on into the early hours of Sunday morning, a few guests waking up with blurry eyes.

An enormous thank you goes out to the LE Boys club who have supported the Long Eaton Judo club over the past 50 years and for providing the funds for the 50th party.
