MP Attends Long Eaton Judo Club Opening Ceremony

Liz Blackman MP recently saw for herself the newly re-opened Judo facility in Long Eaton officially opened by Ray Hawkins the club Chairman.

Sports England gave the club a grant of over £453,000 enabling them to demolish their old premises which had been in use for almost 40 years and put in its place a brand new purpose built Dojo.

‘It was a fabulous evening,’ said the MP. ‘The commitment of club members and coaches shone through. Long Eaton now boasts the best Judo facility in the East Midlands’
